Rebeca Dourado | photographer based in Los Angeles, CA

I first recognized my interest in working behind the camera in 2012 while studying as an actress and pursuing a Bachelor of Social Communication and Journalism degree.

My initial work experience was in the wedding industry, collaborating with sharp and creative minds while filming and photographing precious moments for countless families in Brazil. I also worked as a Photo Assistant for the commercial and documentary photographer Gustavo Malheiros in several projects, including the book and film Tempestade Perfeita (2021).

In 2017, in partnership with my husband, I created audiovisual content for TV and social media for the musical Bibi: Uma Vida Em Musical. In the same year, I joined the Petmedia team as the head of the audiovisual department, leading the filming and editing of institutional videos as well as pet content for their TV and social media platforms.

My experience also includes headshots, corporate events, food, real-estate, and theatre photography.

Today my studio is based in Los Angeles, CA, where I work mainly with Headshots and Fine Art.
